Updating schedule information retrieving busy information from server
I am having an issue where random user cannot see others Free/Busy Scheduling in Outlook Calendar 2010. I have been Googling all morning, I am unable to find even one good explanation why this is happening. I can't do the /cleanfreebusy as the cmd is restricted for the user. And also, when I try to run the Email Auto Configuration, I got an error: Autoconfiguration was unable to determine your settings.
Have you tried running outlook with the /cleanfreebusy command-line switch? I need to check the Cached Mode on this user that I'm working on.
I also ended up at this page: shudnow.net/2007/07/15/…Especially, the users of the high profile whose time is very important and has to be organized.Their time is organized by their sub ordinates like secretary, personal assistant by using shared calendar option in their outlook.Due to some settings configuration in outlook, user who is sending an invite would not be able to view the free busy information of the receiver, that's when it becomes important to change the settings in the outlook of the user to see the free busy information. This is also important to let the other users know about your free busy information which indicates your appointments and engagements for the day.
The default is Negotiate Authentication, however this should be set to match the Exchange server authentication method (NTLM or Kerberos) This is especially critical for users of RPC over HTTP.
